Thu Aug 26 RADBC Annual General Meeting - lunch provided

All members, old and new, are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, August 26th at 11.30 a.m. We need to hear about your concerns and also to elect an executive which will provide a comfortable, pleasant venue in which you can enjoy your favourite pastime!! Lunch will be provided at a minimal cost - we can guarantee a delicious meal!

Memorials

The club extends it's deep sympathy to the families of Muriel Skaalen, Isabel McKenzie and Ken Murray who were all long standing members, Ken was a great help to the Director in setting up the tables for the games.

RADBC Executive

Regular games

Come to play an afternoon or evening of friendly competitive bridge. Coffee and a treat are gratis at all games. Bridge fees are $2.50 for members, $5 for non-members. Fund, Charity, Olympiad, STaC, gold games $1 more. RA DBC executive members get $1/game discount.

Events are all Pairs unless indicated as Teams. Swiss and Team events use IMP scoring; the others use matchpoint.

All bridge hands are predealt by computer and loaded into boards. A hand record is available with the results and is posted online for all locally dealt games. ACBL.org will store and display hand records for all ACBL-wide games.

Members who play 50/70% of all games in any time slot(“series”) earn Sectional/Regional entries (or free plays).
