Fencing
2007-08
This classic sport of the gentry is accessible to all at the RA. The RA Fencing Club is registered with the Canadian Fencing Federation and the Ontario Fencing Association and is recognized as a premier force in the Canadian fencing community.
Club
This is an instructional club which welcomes recreational as well as competitive fencers. Those who don’t own fencing equipment can rent it from the club for a supplementary fee. Beginners must participate in the Club’s instructional program. Advanced/Competitive Fencers may join the Club and spar in bouts and participate in inter-club activities. Club nights are Monday from 8:15 to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 7:45 to 10:00 p.m.

Instruction
Fencing Club membership is a pre-requesite for all instructional programs.
Three sessions of instruction are offered. Come out on Sept. 17 to the regular instructional program and find out more about the Club and its instructional programs.

Adult Recreational
Instruction
The Fencing Club offers group foil lessons for beginner and intermediate level fencers.

Adult Competitive
Instruction

Junior Instruction
The Fencing Club’s junior program offers quality instruction for all fencers - from those who simply wish to learn to those who wish to fence at a recreational or a competitive level. Certified NCCP coaches provide instruction.
