2007-2008

“Friends to be with and ski with” is the motto the RA Ski Club lives by. This well organized Club offers a warm welcome to new members with events such as new member pubs and a variety of ski outings where trip leaders help skiers match up with others of similar ability. Visit the RASKI website at www.raski.ca to keep abreast of what’s new or coming up.

Club
The RA Ski Club provides programs and services to cross country and downhill skiers as well as snowboarders. SkiFIT training programs to help skiers get their legs ready for the slopes and trails, as well as waxing and equipment clinics are pre-season highlights. In-season day, weekend, and weeklong ski trips to popular downhill and cross country sites, as well as value priced lesson packages and year round socials, along with other off season activities such as hikes and bike trips, are the mainstay of the club. Excellent member discounts offered by local resorts and ski shops provide more than enough savings to pay for your membership. Club members must be 18 years of age or over and members are encouraged to introduce their Ski Club to friends by bringing them as a guest to one of our outings. “Supervised Juniors” under 18 years of age are welcome to attend club trips as a guest, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. See www.raski.ca for complete details – some restrictions may apply. The club will provide details on its season’s program at their Trip Information Night on Wednesday, October 24th, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the Clark Hall at the RA Centre.
