Clubs

One of the strengths of the Association is the various sports and recreational clubs, each provides outstanding programs, support and services to members.  These eighteen clubs operate under the direction of their own Volunteer Club Executive Committee. Collectively, these activities are supported by more than 4,500 members.
The clubs include:  Aikido, Archery, Badminton, Canoe Camping, Chess, Curling, Duplicate Bridge, Euchre, Fencing, Fifty Plus, Gun, Judo, Photo, Racquetball, Squash, Stamp, Ski/Snowboard and Tennis.

As well, a variety of other recreation activities that are outside of the various Club programs are offered including: First-Aid & CPR training, Hockey Skills Development for Adults, Practical Self-defense instruction and Classical Stretch/Essentrics for Hockey Players classes.

Our Clubs operate by VOLUNTEER POWER!  Opportunities exist in the various sports and recreational clubs.  Whether it is a year round commitment or a special event, we welcome those who would like to help strengthen the RA!

If you would like more information about volunteering, please speak with any one of our three Managers of Club Operations:

“It’s more than the activities of the club, it’s the smart and interesting people that I have met and the camaraderie of the group which keeps me coming back!”

Come and experience the fraternity of friendships that 4,500 Association members have found belonging to one of the RA Clubs.  What other reasons do you need?
