The 2015 Camp Guide
is designed to introduce you to the fabulous mix of camps available this summer at the RA's Riverside Drive and Rideau Tennis Club locations. These programs are filled with activities that provide campers with new experiences, fun-filled days and the RA's extensive facilities. Our camps receive top marks from campers and parents.
Our Members Services team is always happy to answer any of your questions or help you select a camp for your child. Do not hesitate to contact them directly at 613-733-5100. Not only can they answer your questions, they can help you register your child.
Special Needs & Extra Support
The RA is strongly committed to the inclusion of campers with special needs. Please make us aware of any requirements for medical or other conditions at the time of registration, or contact Emily Caillier at firstname.lastname@example.org or (613)733-5100 (ext. 239) so that we can help arrange for any additional supports or resources that your child may require in camp.

New! Extended Care
Pre and post camp supervision is included in your registration from 7:45am in the morning and until 4:45pm in the afternoon. If you need to drop your child off earlier than 7:45am or need to pick them up later than 4:45pm, extended care is available at an additional fee.
Pre-camp: 7:15 to 7:45am
Post-camp: 4:45 to 5:15pm

Our Lunch Club
Our Lunch Club makes it easier for families to get a quick start each morning. By choosing to participate in this extra service our chefs will prepare a nutritious lunch (drink, fruit, snacks & sandwich/wrap) for your child daily.

Camp Swim Times
Camp swims are incorporated into many of our program plans and appropriate staff-to-camper ratios are ensured. Campers age 4-5 years must wear a personal flotation device (provided by us). Campers who are 6 years old and older will be allowed in the shallow part of the pool, and those who pass a swim test will be permitted in the deep end. It’s important to note that not all camp groups will be swimming each day and you will be informed of your child’s swim schedule prior to the beginning of the camp session.
