College or university students are welcome to apply for an intern position with LifeFIT Canada . This work term is best suited to those pursuing a career in health, fitness and/or lifestyle management programs. However, those studying marketing would also benefit from the work term. Interns must hold current First Aid and CPR certification and be able to converse in both French and English. Good communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. This comprehensive program will provide the student with a hands-on work experience. Students will have the opportunity to experience many aspects of the industry such as:

• client service; • daily operations of a facility; • equipment maintenance; • individualized exercise programming; • group exercise class instruction; • health promotion programming; • marketing support; • client satisfaction surveying.
