As the popularity of hockey has grown, so has the number of RA hockey divisions. In addition to the Men’s Non-contact league, the RA also offers Men’s Over 50 and a Women’s Recreational league as part of it’s program.

Leagues

Men’s Non-contact
A total of 92 non-contact adult teams make up 11 divisions of play in the RA’s Hockey League. Entry into this league is on a team basis only. All players must be RA members. Teams interested in putting their team on the waiting list may submit an application to the Recreation Department or contact Pat Coyne by e-mail (pcoyne@racentre.com) or at 613-736-6206. (Space is very limited.) Individual players interested in joining a team should contact Pat by e-mail to be put on the single player list which is available to team managers. Be sure to include your age, position of play, height and weight, playing experience and contact info. Check out our website at www.rahockeyleague.com

  $3,905 - includes RA membership

"Over 50” House League
The popular Men’s Over 50 house league has 3 divisions to fit the playing abilities of all interested and offers 1 game per week on either Tues., Wed. or Fri. Entry into the league is on an individual basis. Priority is given to returning players; however, each year the league is able to accommodate new players. New players can register as of September 1 at the East Member & Guest Services Desk.

Season: October 2009 to March 2010

  Wed. (2 refreree system)
  $260 RA member

Women’s Recreational House League
The Women’s Recreational House League was formed in the fall of 1997 and now has 140 players drafted into ten teams. Entry into the league is on an individual basis. Priority is given to returning players however each year the league will attempt to accommodate new players.

Season: October 2009 to March 2010
  $265 RA member

The RA reserves the right to modify its league structure.
