Here is a sample of the various tennis programs planned for the Winter season.
Junior Progressive Tennis Program
Progressive Tennis uses a systematic progression of court sizes, balls and racquets, to scale the game down to an appropriate level for 5 to 12 year olds. The Rideau program is designed for the junior player who would like to gain some experience and confidence in basic game situations. All levels are welcome.
Junior Plus Tennis Program
The Rideau’s Junior Plus Program is designed for player ages 13 to 16 who are looking to build the confidence and skills to enjoy this lifelong sport. The combination of ball drills, strategies, speed/agility workouts and fun makes this a perfect way to learn the game. Those who enjoy the challenge will find this to be a stepping stone to the Junior Elite Program.
Junior Elite Program
Under the guidance of Head Pro Zhenya Kondratovski, this intensive training program is for juniors who are competing at the city or provincial level. The emphasis will be on tactical training and exposing students to different game styles and playing situations. Students will hit lots of balls, play points and matches. Each candidate will go though an assessment prior to the start of the season. |
