August 20, 2025 Fall Table Tennis – Learn, Play, Improve! Table Tennis, known as ‘Ping Pong’ to the casual player, is one of the most popular and competitive sports worldwide – played in schools, recreation centres, basements, and alleyways. RA Fall Table Tennis packs a punch with a diverse range of instructional and development programs for youth and adults as well as clinics for novice to advanced players. New this season: ‘Try Table Tennis’ – 90-minute sessions where participants will learn the basics of the game, try out simple drills, and play a few casual games in a relaxed, welcoming environment! Learn from the best with Iryna Shevchenko! Several of our intermediate and advanced programs this fall are instructed by Table Tennis Coach Iryna Shevchenko!
Shevchenko brings 14 years of coaching expertise and over 28 years of playing experience to her coaching sessions. She is a former Ukrainian Women’s Doubles Champion, and the 2016 Ontario Women’s Singles Champion. “We love a competitive atmosphere,” comments Shevchenko. “On Sundays we have competitive drop-ins from 1pm-3pm. We’re always trying to get as many people to show up as we can!” Shevchenko holds a Master’s Degree in Table Tennis Coaching and Physical Training from the National University of Sports of Ukraine. She is currently part of the Table Tennis Canada Women Coach Mentorship Program – focusing on skills, leadership, and mentorship.
