RA Annual General Meeting

Thursday, November 26, 2020 at 6pm

Your voice and participation are important.

Plan to attend the virtual RA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday, November 26 at 6pm. This year, due to strict gathering restrictions, the meeting will be held using the Microsoft Teams web-based meetings & video conferencing tool.

NOTICE OF MOTION(S): As per Bylaw 10.1.3, RA members are asked to put forward any motion(s) to the Board within five (5) days of this meeting notice to be reviewed by the Board for potential inclusion to the agenda of business to be transacted at the AGM. Please email any proposed motion(s) to Andrea Barchard at before end of day Sunday, October 18, 2020.

All voting members are asked to pre-register and confirm their attendance by completing this on-line form.

Once you have confirmed your intention to attend and your RA membership has been validated, you will receive;

  • Week of November 2: the AGM package (agenda, previous year’s AGM minutes, 2019 financial summary)

  • Week of November 9: step by step instructions on how to use Microsoft Teams (a web-based meetings & video conferencing tool)

  • Week of November 16: an invitation to a “dry-run” meeting (date tbd) – your opportunity to become familiar with Microsoft Teams. RA staff will be available to assist.

  • November 22: the link to an on-line form to gather your questions prior to the AGM. We are asking members to send their questions in advance of the AGM in order to assist with the flow of this virtual meeting.

  • November 24: the link to access the RA AGM being held on November 26, 2020 at 6pm.

Thanking you in advance for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
