Recently, it was noticed that undue damage had been caused to the new buttresses by the use of equipment not meeting World Archery specifications. The RA Archery Club programs and operations are dedicated to the development of target archery and, to this end, the Club endorses observance of World Archery target equipment rules. Furthermore, it is our responsibility to see that RA Property is protected from unnecessary damage to protect their investment as well as our own, and to ensure that club members can enjoy use of these buttresses specifically designed for target archery. The Club Executive in agreement with the RA Centre has decided that, effective immediately, equipment not meeting World Archery target standards will no longer be allowed in the range. Under these rules, bow weight must not exceed 60 lbs and arrow diameter must not exceed 9.33mm. Failure to respect these rules could lead to suspension of membership privileges.
