Abe completed his undergraduate degree at York University and studied Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He is now attending uOttawa for teacher's college and has teaching subjects in Physical Education and Biology. This will be Abraham's fifth summer as a camp counsellor and he has worked in various sports, arts and crafts, and wading pool programs for kids of all ages. On Abraham's spare time, he enjoys playing all sports, reading and listening to music. You’ll always find Abe bringing the energy on fun lunch Fridays!

Alison Mackenzie

Alison is thrilled to begin her first summer as a Head Counselor with RA Summer Camps. Entering her fifth year at McGill University in Montreal, Alison studies Atmospheric Science by day and is the captain of the women's varsity hockey team by night. She has played in two national championship games since being at McGill. Alison hopes to be a teacher when she finishes University, so she can continue pursing her passion for helping others learn. Last summer she worked with McGill Sport Camps teaching the fundamentals of sports, and emphasis was placed on participation and encouraging an active lifestyle. Alison can’t be more excited to join the team at the RA!

Kendra White

This year will be Kendra's second year working at the RA Summer Camps (first as a Head Counselor) and you can find her in the Jr. Day room! Aside from this, Kendra is currently enrolled at Carleton University in the Bachelor of Honours Psychology program. Kendra is St. Lawrence College alumni, where she graduated last year from the Early Childhood Education program making her a Registered Early Childhood Educator, which is the field she will be working in leading up to camp. During Kendra's spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working with children in the community and playing competitive hockey. Kendra is very passionate about ensuring that all children leave camp with a smile on their face!

Khaisey Quevillion

After being in Toronto for the past couple summers, Khaisey is excited to make her return to the RA, this time as a Head Counselor. She has previously worked one summer as a counselor-in-training, and then three as a counselor at RA Summer Camps. The past two summers she has stayed in Toronto where she has worked day and overnight camps. One camp incorporated a two-week trip to Quebec, and focused on learning the French language through games and activities. She just has completed her fourth year in History and French at the University of York, Glendon Campus and will be attending the University of Ottawa in the fall to start her journey in teacher’s college. Khaisey loves arts and crafts and can’t wait to take part in a game of dodgeball this summer, looking forward to having a great summer!

Summer Malcolm

Summer is super excited to be joining the RA Summer camp team for her first summer! She has a Psychology degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and will be attending teacher’s college at the University of Ottawa this upcoming September. Summer enjoys anything outdoors especially camping and hiking. She loves travelling and exploring different countries/cultures such as India, Nepal, South East Asia, Australia and more. She enjoys playing a variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis and volleyball. Even though she has that sporty side to her, she also loves baking occasionally and she can make some delicious cupcakes. Summer has spent the last few months volunteering in a classroom and can’t wait to get outside this summer with all the RA campers and staff!
