2022 SUMMER CAMPS Register Today!

Registration Information - RA Camps

We know that children will need the chance to engage with positive role models, build friendships and social skills, develop independence, unplug, and discover their best self – more importantly – have FUN! And that parents need to know that they can do it safely and securely.

Camps must comply with the Ministry of Health COVID-19 Safety Guidelines for Day Camps to operate. This Ontario government document has not yet been updated for the 2022 camp season. This means the following information (based on the 2021 restrictions regarding COVID-19 safety) is subject to change based on further direction from the Province of Ontario and the Ministry of Health.

The 2022 RA Camp programming will follow any public health recommendations and emergency orders under the direction of Ottawa Public Health and the Province of Ontario with any required safety measures in place when programs begin.

NEW – Mandatory proof of vaccination

As of December 20, 2021, the Province of Ontario requires proof of vaccination for all adults and youths (aged 12 to 17 years of age) participating in activities/programs in all indoor areas of facilities used for sports and recreational fitness activities such as the RA Centre.  Although children aged 5 to 11 are now eligible to receive the paediatric COVID-19 vaccine they are not currently required to provide proof (subject to change based on further direction from the Province of Ontario and the Ministry of Health).

All RA and RA camp staff are required to be fully vaccinated.

Space is limited, so please register early, secure in the knowledge that we can accomplish a safe and secure camp season while keeping your children's health, happiness and well-being as our top priorities.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS – These are uncertain times and it’s difficult to know what life will be like in the coming months.

  • If the RA is required to cancel programs you will receive a full refund.

  • With pediatric vaccinations now available for 5-11 year old’s, should government regulations require vaccination to participate in day camps in the future and your child is unvaccinated we will provide a credit on account for use at a later date (no refunds will be issued).
  • If you decide to cancel your camp registration...
    • Request received at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the camp session - You will receive your choice of credit on account or refund* providing written notification is given to camps@racentre.com.

    • Request received with less than 30 days notice - There will be no credit or refund* except in the case of a medical reason. A doctor’s note must be submitted to camps@racentre.com along with the cancellation request.
