August 14th, 2025 Strength in Community at the RA Fitness Centre Last March, the RA welcomed Debbi Neill, Coordinator of Fitness Services, to the Fitness Centre. With a background in Massage Therapy and experience as a Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and Yoga Teacher, Neill brings a well-rounded and versatile approach to the fitness and wellness space. Neill first joined the RA in the early 2000s.Her appreciation for the RA has only grown for the facility’s ability to bring people together and empower them through fitness and recreation. Since returning to the RA, Neill has kickstarted several incentive-based and engagement-focused programs. “Coming back, my goal with the RA Fitness Centre is primarily community outreach,” reflects Neill. “I’ve made a lot of changes, including hiring a group of young, enthusiastic Personal Trainers who are eager to see our guests reach their goals.” The monthly fitness schedule will now include NEW clinics, classes, and programs this fall, including:
If you’re looking for a fun, easy way to get involved, Neill recommends checking out the Fitness Centre’s engagement board for the ‘Movement of the Month’! Learn the fundamentals of basic exercises, improve your form, and maximize your efficiency – just flag down a Personal Trainer and they will be glad to assist you with the movement for 15 minutes. In addition, Neill also suggests checking out the Monthly Fitness Challenge – with prizes drawn every month! “All new members are welcome to a complimentary session with one of our certified personal trainers.
