Hello Members, Guests, and House of Sport Team, Welcome to the first in a series of regular updates on how your contributions through the Facility Renewal Fee are helping improve our facilities at the RA. As of February 28, 2025, we have added $61,000 to the Facility Renewal Fund. While this amount won’t cover every project in our Building Maintenance Plan, it significantly reduces the strain on our operational cash flow and allows us to focus on key priorities. Building Maintenance Plan To ensure we allocate resources effectively, projects are prioritized based on urgency: ● Level 1 – Critical: Immediate attention required ● Level 2 – High: Necessary in the short term ● Level 3 – Moderate: Routine maintenance or replacement ● Level 4 – Low: Non-essential or long-term needs Right now, we have a substantial number of Level 1 priorities that need immediate attention. Current Priorities for 2025 A priority list has been established as part of a broader capital and deferred maintenance plan. Our top three projects include: ✅ Rooftop Units (RTUs): Replacing units for Courtside A & B and Grand Hall (currently no A/C) ✅ Air Handling Units (AHUs): Upgrading systems for the Fieldhouse and Badminton/Archery areas (currently no A/C) ✅ Outdoor Pool: Major repairs needed to restore functionality In addition, you may have noticed Clark Hall looking much brighter! Thanks to a small rebate grant from our Green Energy Retrofit program, we upgraded the lighting in Clark Hall and improved the Pickleball lighting as well.
