GroupFIT & SpinFIT

All GroupFIT classes and SpinFIT classes on the following schedule are included in all LifeFIT Memberships.  In addition, all AquaFIT classes offered in the RA's Outdoor pool (June - August) are included as part of your LifeFIT Membership.

SPECIALTY PROGRAMS : Yoga, Pilates, Off-season cycling and specialty fitness programs are also available.  These specialty programs require separate registration with Member Services.

What are LifeFIT Membership “Check Ups” you ask? They are an opportunity to regularly connect with LifeFIT Management staff, to ask questions, to provide feedback or make suggestions about how your experience can be even better.

Class Cancellations/Changes for the week:

The Wednesday 5:30pm and Sunday 9am SpinFIT classes are cancelled going forward. Due to low attendance we are not able to keep the classes running over the spring/summer months. The classes will return come fall!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Balance, Core & More
This class is a MUST for everyone. It will help you improve your balance, and the mobility and stability of the major joints (hip/knee/shoulders). Participants will be given permission to work at their appropriate level, the instructor will provide options and progressions for functional exercises that help build and maintain muscular strength, endurance and flexibility.

Barre Tone
A no-to-low impact 45 minute class that focuses on functional movements, full range of motion and alignment. 
Participants will use their own body weight, balls, gliders and barre.
With class progression expected improvements include increased body awareness and balance, improved joint mobility, core strength and increased muscle tone and endurance. All this while having fun!  

BodyFIT 
This workout is based on strength for the whole body. This class is perfect for all fitness levels.

Bootcamp
A Military style boot camp moving you through different circuits to challenge you!

Cardio Party
Satisfy your cardio and dance fix with our Cardio Party. An hour of dance based fun and cardiovascular training all rolled into one. All levels welcome.

FusionFIT
This class is a blend of traditional Yoga and Pilates movements that will improve skeletal posture, strengthen muscles and work the core.

HIIT
This is a form of interval training, alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods; with a mix of cardio and strength training.

Intervals
A multi-level class alternating between strength training and cardio drills with the option to work at your own level.

Moving and Grooving 
Try out this new cardio class with a flair of fun dance moves combined with fun music. It’s time to get your “Groove On!”

MuscleFIT
This class focuses on strengthening all the major muscle groups, on improving your musculature and the overall performance of your functional movement. The class will incorporate the use of STEPS, hand weights, body bars, tubing and the stability ball.

Muscle & Movement
Gentle low impact aerobics followed by muscle toning using various equipment. These classes are perfect for those who have joint instability, heart or medical conditions.

SpinFIT
Enjoy our indoor cycling program with the best combination of motivation and music to keep you fit. Bikes can be reserved up to one week ahead. Please call the LifeFIT staff at 613-733-5100 ext. 312 to reserve your bike.

SpinFIT & Yoga
1 hour special class that revs up the heart and relaxes the muscles. WOW! A 30-minute spin workout with intensity options that are perfect for all levels of participants, followed by 30 minutes of athletic based yoga stretches.

Tabata  
The ultimate fat burning experience with intense segments of cardio, strength and plyometric training all done in 20 second intervals. Work at your own level with options given. 

Tai Chi
This special class will focus on Tai Chi fitness. Enjoy a gentle way to tone and strengthen your body as well as improve concentration, coordination and balance. Class will progress throughout a series of movements.
