Enjoy the path into more physical activity while building confidence and competence.

The RA’s StrongWomen Program is a welcoming, progressive program led by trained fitness professionals in an inclusive and social, small group setting. It is designed for women with little or no experience with strength training who are interested in improving health, getting stronger, gaining confidence, and enjoying social connectedness.  Participants enjoy the benefits of exercising with a group of women, not only getting stronger physically, but also benefiting from improved self-esteem and self-efficacy.

FEE: $20/per participant/per session

** Please note: A one-time program scholarship of $100 per participant has been provided through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to reduce participation barriers and support program evaluation. Participants wishing to take additional sessions will be required to pay the full program cost of $120 per subsequent session.

Stronger You

Stronger You is a total body, functional strength class.  Focus will be on learning proper technique and how to progress for optimal benefit. Suggested for those who are new to strength training or are looking to continue strength training in a small group setting after having completed the StrongWomen Program.
