Junior Day Camps

4 & 5 years old
Campers must be the minimum age of the camp group by the first day for which they are registered. The RA’s Junior Day Camp is designed to be the perfect first-time camp experience for four and five year olds. With our team of fun-loving, caring counsellors, your child will have a blast participating in age-appropriate activities, including co-operative games, crafts, songs and special activities centered on a different theme each camp session. The program encourages social interaction, confidence building and skill development in a wide range of fun and engaging activities. Campers will get the chance to splash around and cool off with a daily swim in our shallow pool. Lifejackets will be provided and must be worn at all times. CAMP HOURS
Regular camp hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm. Complimentary morning drop-off is between 8:30am and 9:00am and complimentary afternoon pick-up takes place between 4:00pm and 4:30pm. EXTENDED CARE Optional Early/Late Extended care is available for all camps held at the RA Centre. If you require either early drop-off or late pick-up, please ensure you’ve registered for Extended Care (additional fees apply). Animal Planet - July 3 - 7
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my! Campers will have a chance to show their wild side by exploring animal habitats such as the jungle, forests, deserts, and the tundra. Join us for a week of all things wild and get ready to transform into your favourite creatures.
Enchanted Fairytales - July 10 - 14
Enter into an enchanted land inspired by myths, legends and magical friends! Days will be filled with activities and crafts sparked by fun and mystical adventures. Junior Campers will see their favourite stories come alive during this unimaginable week!
Splash Splash - July 17-21 & August 21-25
Set sail with a big splash! Campers will become pirates and cruise around the deep blue sea looking for treasure and learning about sea creatures. Play with bubbles, ride the slip and slide, and soak their counsellors all week with bucket of FUN!
Ooey Gooey - July 24-28 & August 14-18
Junior campers will wiggle, giggle, and squirm their way through this camp’s slimy activities. Your little scientist will make icky sticky concoctions, experiments that will BLOW their minds and be goofy with goopy games. Disclaimer: it’s going to get MESSY!
Superheroes - July 31 - August 4
Pow! Wham! Poof! Being super is hard work. Junior Campers will channel their inner superpowers to triumph over daily challenges to conquer their supersonic goals. Once again, saving the RA Centre from mayhem.
Space Week - August 8 - 11 (4-day Session)

Preparing for launch, this week is your ticket to space. These rocketeers will jet around the galaxy having a cosmic time exploring everything space through intergalactic games and Milky Way sensory play. They will return covered in stardust, but you will still love them to the moon and back! Countdown to Blast-Off in 10…9…8… *Please note: Camp does not operate on Monday, August 7, 2023. |
