RA Archery members hit the mark at the Lancaster Classic!
Three of our RA Archery Club members – Ron Axam, Catherine Brink, and club chair, Charles Proulx – recently took part in the 21st annual Lancaster Classic Archery Tournament in Pennsylvania, USA. The Lancaster is the largest indoor archery tournament on the East Coast where over 3,600 archers compete in various disciplines.
“It’s such a fun event to attend whether as a spectator or as a competitor, “ says Proulx.
Brink, who has been an RA Archery member since 2023, shot in the Women’s Barebow division. “Lancaster was my first international competition. It was a great experience, especially with the support and encouragement I received from other RA Archery Club members.”
Both Axam and Proulx also competed mid-January at the International Field Archery Foundation, IFAA. Huge congratulations to Axam who placed first in his age bracket for Barebow and Proulx who placed third in his category for Masters Compound.
