Multi-sports skills development Camp - 9-12 yrs old
This camp promotes skill development through a multitude of fun sports. The best way to get pre-teens to play sports is to let them sample a variety of different athletic pursuits early on. Engaging with several sports allows your young athlete to practice different movements and think strategically. As a result, your child will become stronger, more flexible, and fitter, preparing them for adult life. Growing these skills leads to physical literacy which helps them feel more confident and competent in their ability to play. In this program, each day there will be 2-3 different sports to test, learn and excel in. This program specializes in skill development and proper technics. Some of the sports campers will come into contact with may include basketball, pickleball, ball hockey, soccer, futsal, softball, soccer baseball, touch football, ultimate frisbee and more. Encouraging youth to try new sports can be a great way to get them active and remind them that sports are all about fun!
Children will get the chance to splash around and cool off with a daily swim in our two outdoor swimming pools.
