StrongWomen Program




The RA’s Strong Women Program is a welcoming, progressive program lead by trained fitness professionals in an inclusive and social, small group setting. It is designed to help you enjoy the path into more physical activity while building confidence and competence.  


The StrongWomen program incorporates strength training to help women maintain muscle mass, strength and function as they age along with a heart health curriculum that focuses on aerobic activity.



SPRING Sessions (12 weeks) 
April 2 - June 22, 2018

S1 Mon & Wed 9am to10am    
S2 Wed  10:30am to 11:30am  and Fri  9am to 10am
S3 Wed & Fri  1pm to 2pm    
S4 Wed  7pm to 8pm  and Fri  5pm to 6pm


FEE: $20/per participant/per session

** Please note: A one-time program scholarship of $100 per participant has been provided through the Ontario Trillium Foundation to reduce participation barriers and support program evaluation. Participants wishing to take additional sessions will be required to pay the full program cost of $120 per subsequent session.


Registration:  Registration can be completed at the Member Services Desk, located near the east entrance of the RA Centre, Monday to Sunday, 6:00am to 10:30pm or by telephone at 613-733-5100, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 10:30pm. Please have your credit card ready when you call. A Member Services representative will answer the registration line.  In the event that they are unable to do so, please leave your name and telephone number and a representative will return your call.
