Extra Conveniences
Camp activity Locations
The day always starts and finishes at the RA Centre, with all camp activities taking place right on-site. Our Camps are held at the RA Centre on Riverside Drive and take advantage of our many outdoor and indoor venues such as softball diamonds, beach volleyball courts, outdoor pools, soccer fields, multi-purpose gymnasium, squash courts and badminton courts. Some programs will allow campers to explore the natural areas and parks along the Rideau River that are a short walk from the RA Centre. |
Camp Swim
Camp swims are incorporated into many of our programs. It is important to note that not all camp groups will be swimming each day and you will be informed of your child’s swim schedule prior to the beginning of the camp session. |
Inclusion & Accessibility
The RA strives to offer programs which are welcoming to all participants. We are strongly committed to working with families to support and accommodate diverse needs and abilities to ensure each child is able to integrate into the program, feel included, supported and ultimately to have an unforgettable time! We ask that parents connect with us before registering if your child may require additional support so we can explore together how we can accommodate them to the best of our ability with the available resources we have in place. Please contact Jenna Huisman, Senior Coordinator, Children’s Programs by email at jhuisman@racentre.com prior to registration. As parents and guardians, you know your child best and we look forward to working together to ensure they have the most positive and meaningful camp experience, and your child goes home describing their RA camp day as “the best time ever!” |
