The RA Centre is open to the public, and has over 200,000 sq. ft of indoor and outdoor facilities to rent for sporting or corporate events, parties, and workshops. We have a space to accommodate your needs! Have a look over the different options and then fill out the form below to submit your request!

Sports Facility Rentals

CURLING ICE (seasonal)

The RA Curling Centre of Excellence offers five sheets of arena-style curling ice. The ice will be put in early September and will be available for teams to rent in 1hr 45min blocks through the end of April. Some exception dates apply. Renters must have curling experience.

Prepared Practice Ice
Looking for ice time to prepare, practice and sharpen your game? Prepare Curling Ice Rentals offer experienced curlers and teams the flexibility to book dedicated ice time that works for their schedule. Whether you’re preparing for a local bonspiel, competing at the provincial or national level, or simply looking for additional practice time with your team, these rentals provide an opportunity to get on the ice, work on your game and prepare for your next competition. For experienced curlers and established teams. Rentals are intended for practice and preparation and are not instructional sessions.

Ice is scraped and pebbled for use. 

• Eligibility: Rentals are available to experienced curlers and teams for practice, training, preparation, or special events. 
• Bookable by RA Curling Club Members and approved Rental Clients.
• Advance booking and seasonal block booking options are available.
• Booking closes seven (7) days prior to the start of the session
• Rental Duration: Ice rentals are booked in 2-hour blocks. Curling time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the remaining 15 minutes reserved for RA ice technicians to prepare the ice for the next rental.
• Payment: Full payment is required prior to the start of the booking.
• Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted at least 3 days in advance to receive a full credit toward a future booking. If a refund is requested instead, a $30 administrative fee will apply. Cancellations made less than 3 days before the booking are not eligible for a credit or refund.Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to [email protected]​

Approved Rental Clients: $80 + $7.60 FRF* = $87.60 (plus tax)

How to Book:

1. Log into your PlayRA account.
2. Select 'Bookings & Registrations' under the top left menu. 
3. Under 'Schedule a Visit', select ‘Curling Practice Ice - Prepared Ice’.
4. Scroll through the calendar to view availability.
5. Select your desired time slot and proceed to check out.

 
Please note: If the $2,000 rental fee does not automatically reduce to the listed booking rates please do not proceed to payment but rather connect with [email protected]. It is possible your account has not been setup to rent this option.


Business League
Our Business League Rentals are designed for established, organized curling leagues looking for consistent ice time throughout the curling season. Leagues can secure their full-season rental from October 2026 through April 2027, providing reliable, dedicated ice time for regular league play. This option is ideal for businesses, organizations, and established groups that operate their own structured curling league and require recurring weekly ice. 

• Eligibility: Available to established, organized curling leagues.
• Rental Duration: Ice time is pre-booked for the full curling season, from October 2026 through April 2027.
• Rental Blocks: Ice rentals are booked in 2-hour blocks. Curling time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes, with the remaining 15 minutes reserved for RA ice technicians to prepare the ice for the next rental.
• Payment: Full payment is required prior to the start of the season. A monthly pre-authorized payment plan is also available.
• Cancellations & Changes: Once a full-season rental is confirmed, it is not eligible for cancellation, credit, or refund. We will make every effort to accommodate requests for changes where possible; however, accommodations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

SOFTBALL DIAMONDS (seasonal)

The Lightenco Softball Centre offers four softball diamonds (two grass and two stone dust), as well as ample lighting for any nighttime events.  Located here at our Riverside Drive location, these well-maintained facilities are a great place to host a company tournament, a family gathering or some fun with friends.  Please note rentals are weather dependent.

Short-term Rental:  $52.50 + $4.99 FRF* = $57.49 (plus tax)
Weekday Long-term Season Rental: $35 + $3.33 FRF* =  $38.33 (plus tax)
Weekend Long-term Season Rental: $40 + $3.80 FRF* =  $43.80 (plus tax)
*A 9.5% Facility Renewal Fee is applied.

Turf Field 

Winter (Dome)
​From November through April, the full turf is divided into three playing fields under a dome. Each playing field (1/3 turf field) is available to be rented separately or in any combination, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm* (based on space availability).

Sand VOLLEYBALL COURTS (seasonal)

The RA’s sand volleyball facilities are a great way to add a fun sport to a company’s activity day. Located next to our outdoor patio, we offer two courts for your enjoyment. Organizers are to bring their own balls.

oUTDOOR POOL (seasonal)

The RA’s aquatic facility is open between mid-June and August. This outdoor facility is a great place to be in the summer months.
​Summer 2026 rentals will be considered in the Spring.

Room Rentals

​Room rentals include the provision and arrangement of chairs and tables only. ​Any additional services such as catering, linens, audio visual are the responsibility of the renter. The RA has limited auxiliary services available at an additional cost. Prices effective February 2026. Please note: All room rentals must start and end within the facility's operating hours; we cannot accommodate bookings outside these times.
