Facility Rentals
The RA Centre is open to the public, and has over 200,000 sq. ft of indoor and outdoor facilities to rent for sporting or corporate events, parties, and workshops. We have a space to accommodate your needs! Have a look over the different options and then fill out the form below to submit your request!
Sports Facility Rentals
CURLING ICE (seasonal)
The RA Curling Centre of Excellence offers five sheets of arena-style curling ice. The ice will be put in early September and will be available for teams to rent in 1hr 45min blocks through the end of April. Some exception dates apply. Renters must have curling experience.

RA Curling Club Members: $75 + $5.63 FRF* = $80.63 (plus tax)
Approved Rental Clients: $80 + $6 FRF* = $86 (plus tax)
*A 7.5% Facility Renewal Fee is applied.
How to Book:
Please note: If the $2,000 rental fee does not automatically reduce to the listed booking rates please do not proceed to payment but rather connect with [email protected]. It is possible your account has not been setup to rent this option.

- Only available for curlers with experience who are looking to practice either alone or with their team.
- Bookable by RA Curling Club Members and approved Rental Clients.
- Advance booking and seasonal block booking options are available.
- Booking closes seven (7) days prior to the start of the session
- 1hr 45min booking blocks.
- Cancellations require a minimum three days notice of booking time and can be managed through the online portal. The full credit will be applied to account and can be applied to your account for future use or request a refund through [email protected] to receive a refund of your booking. A $30 administrative fee is applied to refund requests. Cancellations within three days are not subject to a credit or refund.

How to Book:
- Log into your PlayRA account.
- Select 'Bookings & Registrations' under the top left menu.
- Under 'Schedule a Visit', select ‘Curling Practice Ice - Prepared Ice’.
- Scroll through the calendar to view availability.
- Select your desired time slot and proceed to check out.

SOFTBALL DIAMONDS (seasonal)
The Lightenco Softball Centre offers four softball diamonds (two grass and two stone dust), as well as ample lighting for any nighttime events. Located here at our Riverside Drive location, these well-maintained facilities are a great place to host a company tournament, a family gathering or some fun with friends. Please note rentals are weather dependent.
Fees:
Short-term Rental (per hour): $52.50 + $3.94 FRF* = $56.44 (plus tax)
Weekday Long-term Season Rental (per hour): $35 + $2.63 FRF* = $37.63 (plus tax)
Weekend Long-term Season Rental (per hour): $40 + $3.00 FRF* = $43.00 (plus tax)

From November through April, the full turf is divided into three playing fields under a dome. Each playing field (1/3 turf field) is available to be rented separately or in any combination, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm* (based on space availability).

Sand VOLLEYBALL COURTS (seasonal)
The RA’s sand volleyball facilities are a great way to add a fun sport to a company’s activity day. Located next to our outdoor patio, we offer two courts for your enjoyment. Organizers are to bring their own balls.
oUTDOOR POOL (seasonal)
The RA’s aquatic facility is open between mid-June and August. This outdoor facility is a great place to be in the summer months.

Room Rentals
Room rentals include the provision and arrangement of chairs and tables only. Any additional services such as catering, linens, audio visual are the responsibility of the renter. The RA has limited auxiliary services available at an additional cost. Prices effective January 2025. Please note: All room rentals must start and end within the facility's operating hours; we cannot accommodate bookings outside these times.
