intro to Squash (4-week CLINICS)
Curious about squash? This 4-week introductory clinic is perfect for beginners looking to learn the basics in a fun, supportive setting. You'll be guided through the fundamentals of the game, including rules, basic strokes, footwork, and court movement. All equipment is provided, and class sizes are kept small (maximum of 6 participants) to ensure personalized instruction and a positive first experience on court.

Squash Level 1
This beginner-friendly program introduces the fundamentals of squash in a supportive and engaging environment. Participants will learn the basic rules, safety guidelines, and essential techniques of the game. Instruction focuses on developing forehand and backhand strokes, serves, and returns, with an introduction to volleys, drop shots, and boasts. No prior experience is required, and all equipment is provided.

Youth & Junior Programs
Squash Level 1 - junior (aGES 7-13) & Youth (ages 14-17)
This introductory program is perfect for young players new to squash. Participants will develop hand-eye coordination, footwork, and basic strokes including forehand, backhand, serve, and return. Sessions also cover rules, scoring, safety, and introduce volleys, drop shots, and boasts. Players are grouped by skill level to ensure tailored instruction. All equipment is provided.

SQUASH LEVEL 2 - youth (AGES 14-17)
Designed for players who have completed Level 1 or have basic squash experience, this program builds on foundational skills in a fun, small-group setting. Juniors will refine footwork, improve swing technique, and begin incorporating strategy into gameplay. Emphasis will be placed on developing advanced shots such as volleys, drop shots, boasts, lobs, kills, and retrieving balls from the back corners. This level is ideal for those looking to elevate their game and compete more confidently.

BOOKING RULES
- Courts may be booked up to 7 days in advance
- Cancellations made LESS than 48 HOURS PRIOR to your booking - No credit or refund.
- Cancellations made MORE than 48 HOURS PRIOR to your booking - Account credit only - no refund. You may cancel your booking and create an account credit on-line by following the steps in the How to Tips under "How to Cancel a Court Booking" or by contacting RA Guest Services.
- CHECK-IN IS REQUIRED – Individuals who have booked a court are required to check-in at the East Guest Services Desk BEFORE the start of their court booking. Please ensure every individual in your party checks in. Individuals who do not check in repeatedly will receive a penalty charge.
- Do not enter courts early.
- All participants are required to leave the court once the one hour time period is over. This allows the next group to start and avoid any confusion
- An extra charge ($30 per court per hour) will be applied to any participants who use any vacant court before or after their booking time
- No formal coaching, organized league play or programming can be done privately through play-as-you-go court rentals
- No back-to-back reservations permitted.

Felix is a high-level squash player who recently graduated from the education program at Queen’s University, where he was one of the captains on the varsity team. He is an NCCP level 1 certified squash coach with experience in junior programs of all levels.
Felix believes that anyone can become a skilled squash player and will help anyone who decides that they want to be one to the best of his abilities. He is enthusiastic about the growth of the sport and is always ready to teach.
